I have gone from using a laptop for zwift to using my iPhone. I stopped using the laptop because of the constant freezing mid ride. So the HRM is a CooSpo Heart Rate Monitor Bluetooth ANT+ which is BLE4.0.
My trainer connects straight away but I can not pair the HRM however I try. Batteries are fine. It bleeps once fitted but the iPhone ignores on the zwift app even though it shows up connected on the Bluetooth settings .
Anyone else have this issue and how did you resolve it.

What trainer is it?

My coospo works well with Apple TV box and tacx flux

The trainer is a Elite Directo XR
, this connects faultlessly. The iPhone is not recognising the HRM when using the Zwift app even though the phone shows it connected.

Are you manually pairing it with your phone first? I vaguely recall that’s not the way. Try deleting it from your phone’s Bluetooth settings if so, then load up Zwift and try to pair it from there.

My understanding is you can normal only pair two device together with BT

ANt+ allows multi pairings as does Apple TV with BT

Good luck

@Ro5ey I’ve had BT trainer, cadence & HRM all working with Zwift on iPad before.
I think AppleTV has a 2-device limit for whatever reason, but this is arbitrary & doesn’t affect iPhone/iPad AFAIK.

I think you need to pair it with Zwift app tho not directly with phone.
