Got the phone at the weekend, works great, can check my email with Lineone.net ( old email account from late 90's, got taken over by tiscali, then just recently talktalk...) but can't send to the same account from the phone, either on home wifi ( via sky) or the mobile internet.. outgoing mail is configured as smtp.lineone.net , server port 25...
Any pointers? cheers.. Also got it via Voadafone..

I suspect you will need to use Vodafones SMTP server for outgoing on the mobile connection, it might let you use this at home on Wi-Fi, otherwise you will need to look at getting an authenticated SMTP service....i think.

set up an account on Voda's 360 network and used that info for the SMTP settings..
