I'm replacing the MP3 files on my sd card, however the music player won't remove teh old files - tells me are there, crashes etc...what to do? Can't see a way of refreshing or deleting in tne app.

Use a better app? Quite fond of PowerAmp myself.

Which app out of interest? I use winamp and it seems pretty faultless.

I think you the phone would have re-scan the SD card installed to update its music list. ( seems common across android devices )

Which by the sounds of it is what you're phone did when you typed your post.

Are you trying to delete them from within the music app?
I've used Astro to do SD card file management, and they usually works.
When it did't, I just connected to a PC and used Windows Explorer to delete them.
