got it setup to deliver some news feed when it opens i guess? just go to the settings and have it reload the last stuff you had open perhaps?
The Samsung browser looks good. Refresh button there on the screen and search bar at the bottom near your thumb.

Er... Because it's not really necessary?
Just drag down, so much quicker than finding a button right up top. No need for a toolbar refresh button. If you really can't use the drag down to refresh then it's only one extra click of the three dot menu to get to chrome's refresh button.

Because a quick pull down does that anyway?

This is a 'user config' issue, not an issue with opera itself... go into the settings and disable all that shite...
I have my 'home screen' as just a bunch of shortcut icons to websites I use a lot. In the opera browser home screen I mean, not my phones home screen.
Settings > start page > turn off the *news slider"
Drag down action to refresh
