So I've got my shiny new Motorola Defy. I want to get it onto my home WiFi, which is encypted with a 64 character string. Here's the stupid question: how do I copy and paste the string to enter it in the password box when I set up the connection?

I've moved a text file with the key in onto the phone by USB, but can't see an easy way to actually use it.

Open the text file, press and hold on the text you want to copy and then you should get the option of copying, copy it and paste it into the box. Should work. Sort of.

Open the file with a file-browser, then long-press. Should give you an option to [cut/copy].

Long-press in Wifi password box, and select [paste].

Doesn't work, the file browser I have is QuickOffice and there just doesn't seem to be any way to edit the file with it at all, so not sure what it's for really!

In some apps you need to press menu -> select text before you can copy/paste it.
