Along with fresh chillies, artichoke, mushrooms I'd say compulsory. Have you tried banana and anchovy?

One of the worst moments of my life* was getting in after a night out, about 2ish in the morning and seeing a pizza box on the side in the kitchen. I opened it to see half a pizza left i  there. I felt like i'd won the lottery! Grabbed a slice and stuffed in my gob.

Bllluuurrgghhh. Bloody anchovies!!! 🤮 I can still taste it and it was about 25 years ago!!

Always sniff left over pizza now...

*slight exaggeration.

Every now and then, I get a 3 pack of Aldi/Lidl pizza's for £2.49 and just add extra toppings, anchovy is always added, along with mushrooms, extra cheese and chilli. Yummilly scrumtious.

Yes if you like them. I'm not that bothered by them.

And pineapple can **** off too,

I made a Hawaiian pizza the other night but I burnt it, think it needs aloha temperature.

Waitrose intense Adriatic anchovies (from the chiller near the olives etc) are one of the tastiest things that can be bought. Even if you believe yourself not to be a fan of anchovies I urge you to try them.

Oh dear god, yes! Double anchovies, ideally!

Hairy fish, as my friend calls them. She’s not a fan.

****ing yes. I always (almost always) put them on shop-bought pizzas to improve them a bit.

Anchovies.

Capers.

Olives.

Chillis.

Mozarella.

Garlicky tomato base on a thin crispy base.

Good olive oil and loads of black pepper.

Czech lager from Co-Op.

Mouth hurt paradise.

Cheese never - can’t stand it. Love cheesecake though.

Olives are the devils chug-nuts. Why you’d put them on a pizza is beyond me. Especially with the scrapings off Satan’s foreskin.

I don’t believe anyone actually enjoys eating this crap. You just have to say you do to be allowed into Waitrose.

Everyone knows that a donner meat pizza is about a million times better than that strokey middle class shit! 😃

Yes, yes, a million times yes. Straight anchovy pizza would be fine by me. I will eat the whole tin with a fork quite happily. Last time in Italy it was the only word I translated so as to ensure my pizza was adorned with the little salty fishy delights. I even asked for extra. Man, that anchovy Calzone was something else. I went back later in the week and had another.

If they're good enough for Jacques Cousteau, they're good enough for you.

Anyway, I thought organic, artisan pizza was all the rage in Ramsbottom-cum-Hardy?

Anchovies yes, I'd eat them on their own without the pizza.

But who the hell eats olives, I'd imagine they are the sort of thing a roadie would eat!

Pepperoni, olives, capers, anchovies- pizza perfection.

Anybody who doesn’t like em, or does like pineapple on a pizza deserves everything they get. (Including Brexit).

Hell yes.

Defo with capers, and possibly an egg on top.

Absolutely.  Can't get enough of them.  When making pizza I always have to buy twice as many as I need for the pizza because I'll eat most before they get anywhere near a damn pizza.

It's a great big YES from me. Blimmin' gorgeous little morsels.

I also drape them over a lamb joint when roasting it. They add a lovely salty tang.

Definitely, with ham; pineapple and chilli flakes over a mature cheddar.
