sadie spunk

I don't get the reference so I googled it.

Not a good idea if you are at work.

Still not sure of what it means.😁

oh dear, i feel as tho i ought to step in here before anyone thinks im a porn star fluffer or somethings 😅

its almost as @llama thought, a sad ex-punk. atho the 'miserable' is waaaaay off the mark there, its 'sad' as in 'its a bit sad that you still like punk in this day and age mate' 😀
(altho depending on where youre from, you may not have heard 'sad' used in this context, so it still might not make sense)

i remember teej mentioning this a year or two back, in his head he just reads the name as 'sadie spunk' which amuses him 🙂

Sadie Spunk is a great name for a punk!  No deeper meaning than that and I just misread stuff all the time

Essel Gruntfuttock was mentioned on The Goon Show, maybe by Spike Milligan or Sir Harry Secombe.
I always thought EGF was a Goon character but I can’t find any records. 🥺

BBC rejected all my attempts to set an 'easy' username . So I just started typing random stuff. Ended up with 'ShimanoXTDerailleur'.

the self titled like WorldClassAccident.

Some names are given, others are earned

Not self titled, hard earned with blood spilt around the country to prove it 🙂

Glad to amuse @tjagain 😀

My username came about from meeting up with some old university friends after a few years after graduation. It’s fair to say I’d been on a bit of a multi year beer binge and clapped on about three stone. We were actually going mountain biking on the meet up and I wheezed up the first climb to be met at the top with someone christening me as a tub of lard. Guess it stuck.

Glad to say it was enough to get me fit again and that three stone is but a distant memory.

Always get amusing ones working for an international company. Formulas such as first few letters of forename and first few from surname. End up with people whose usernames and email addresses mean "shit" or "slut" etc. in countries we operate in. Or common silly abbreviations like "lmao", or just words from the dictionary. We have full name aliases for email now, plus people can get theirs changed. Then someone joins in India who doesn't have an official surname, or someone whose first name has only two letters, causes all sorts of silly problems.

Anurag Dikshit would be an amusing user name if it wasn't the actual name of an Indian entrepreneur, the founder of PartyGaming.com

Turbo flard? Haven't a clue what a flard is but hey ho. Check.

Asshat? Check. Sorry.

Nobber in the fridge? Apparantly that's where nobbers hide when under pressure so seems legit. Hope he evicts him one day. Check.

Surprised nobody has mentioned @anus yet.

tuboflard

My username came about

Huh, I always assumed it came from the HIGNFY episode where Roy Hattersley (I think?) failed to show up.

I suspect that’s where they got the idea from @Cougar as this was in 1998 or thereabouts. Thankfully I’ve nothing else in common with Roy Hattersley.

Sorry WCA, I didn’t mean to denigrate your achievement won in blood, sweat and tears. 🙂

Essell Gruntfuttock was a character on Round the Horne, one of Kenneth Williams IIRC
