You should check out Brian Eno's "Music for airports'.
In fact no. No you shouldn't.

There's YouTube videos of literally hours of stuff like rain, & passing traffic. 😯

This past week I've been pretty much obsessed with Jon Hopkin's Imunity album. The ambient stuff on it is beautiful.

This is a reworked version of an album track.

Title track:

Okay, would someone like to point out what I'm doing wrong in trying to embed video there?

Biosphere - Substrata is a great album for relaxing.

Kobresia is one of my favourites and when I play this at home on the hifi it really makes the woofers move in and out in a strange way!

Oh aye, it's superb - hugely atmospheric. Ace use of Twin Peaks samples, too.

Global Communication's 76:14 is one of my favourite albums - forever evocative (to me) of riding on the Wilts/Dorset border, in the summer before I went up to uni. Can hardly believe that was nearly twenty years ago... 😯

Had totally forgotten about Stone in Focus. I've got incredible memories of waiting an age for SAW2 to come out, and then it being totally different to what I expected. And so much better 🙂 Here is a piece of Aphex Easy Listening.
