Looking at get a shed load of second hand CD's from Zovestocks on Amazon and to my astonishment they're charging P&P per CD and not as a job lot. for the 30 plus Cd's i'm looking at getting they want nearly £40 delivery, tried emailing them but to no avail.
Anyone else had this and know a way around it?
I use them a lot, and it seems like they make their money on the postage... £0.01 for a cd, and £1.26 postage.
If you are looking at 1p CDs, then I think 40quid postage is fair enough!
i emailed them about the same, and asking where 1 cd was a while back and got this response:
Hello,Thank you for your email.

EDIT: I just had to search my gmail to find that and it was quite scary how many orders have made!!!!
I can see why thy do it. I just think if they'd advertised as £1.30 a CD with free P&P I'd feel like I wasn't getting ripped off. Oh well, no way round it so never mind.
still reckon it may be worth re sending an email to them though as if you are buying 40+ they could box this up and probably ship for a fiver?
They're also on play.com - free P&P there
I've just bought a few DVDs from them, and wasn't charged postage (they ship them all seprately too for some odd reason)

It might be free shipping but prices are more expensive on play. CD's I had on Amazon were £1.30 with P&P but they're £1.74 on Play, cheeky blighters! Why not just have a fixed price.
Zoverstocks is Music Magpie, this is what they do with all the CDs. I bought a load off them last month, about 30 CDs and they all turned up in separate huffy bags over the course of a week. Just one thing I've learnt though is they have a system in place on Amazon were they undercut the cheapest seller by 1p, something to hear in mind if you'd prefer to buy off a smaller outlet who may need the sales more.
