Google gives 5,490 hits for the item title - it just means black in Spanish.

Nothing to see here.

I'm more offended at the price wanted for something that has half the saddle missing

Negro (plural Negroes) is an archaic term traditionally used to denote persons considered to be of Negroid heritage. The term can be construed as offensive, inoffensive or completely neutral, largely depending on the region where it is used . . .  .

. . .. and how hard you are working on trying to be offended . . .

🙂

Sometimes, a bit of research before starting a thread would save embarrassment....

LOL I hope you are joking DezB and not raking this seriously!

Wouldnt mind buying this saddle with a 30 day no quibble return.

Bit pricey but full carbon and light.

No white saddle though...

Aren’t they called Negro purely because they’re black, and that’s the word for black, so it follows that calling them black should also be offensive.

To some, at any rate...

I think a racist description of a saddle would be describing the colour as "**** black"

Words are not offensive in of themselves.  Its the context they are used in.  ie two black youths can call each other N***** and its fine.  If I as a white man did tho it is not.  context is all

OP,

What were you searching for, or was this a 'similar product' suggestion? From your user name, I can appreciate it may have been component shopping.

If you're at work, in an open plan office, and you want to find the website for Blacks Outdoors, try to remember it's not blacksDOTcom

And if you are interested in the ferry timetables to/from the Black Isle, never, EVER, ask on STW if there are residents of the ferry terminal online.
