When did Amazon free delivery change to £25?

I don't know but I'm watching this as we're considering ditching prime but wondering if delivery would then cost more than the subscription.

I get it though, we all need to chip in so bozo can still be in the centibillionaire club.

It didn’t. However, it’s also a selling platform for third parties who may charge for delivery.

I commonly see this when Amazon serves up an item not available in the UK.

You can usually collect for free below the delivery threshold

So they’ve raised the free delivery threshold by a whole £5, this is worthy of a thread why 😂 Free delivery for online purchases isn’t a human right!

(As an aside out of all the subscription services Amazon Prime has got to be the best value, considering everything it gets you)

Yeah it happened very recently, and very quietly.
Not unreasonable given inflation, but it won't be reduced if/when the economy is un-screwed.

Which without an extended period of deflation running at 10% won't happen, and if it did i think the economy would be screwed.

My last order was 26th March so they quietly changed it after that

Finding that little thing for £1.02 to take you up to £20 used to be tedious. We've got quite a few bars of smelly soap as a result. 🙃

There was a similar thread about Wiggle a bit ago. Socks and Fenwicks chain cleaner sponges were what I remember as being good “extra” items to make up the amount.

I’m surprised it’s so low to be honest!

Morrisons on Amazon, it's cheaper to go to Morrisons. Or probably Waitrose.

Who'd have guessed there was a cost attached to the convenience of having someone else collect and deliver your shopping to you. The world is full of surprises.

Lowest form of wit is sarcasm.
Merely pointing out that people can be dupped by Morrison prices on Amazon. You obviously not as you're far too clever.

Be nice @Caher, he's just found out that Baby Jesus died today and he's struggling.

Maybe some egg-shaped chocolate could distract him ?

we’ve used Amazon and also Morrison directly a few times. IMO the service from Amazon is a lot better plus you don’t have to pay for the slot like I think you do with Morrison so it’s not necessarily as simple as just “Amazon cost moar”

Someone has to pay for the millions of gray Tranny vans which drive around all day and night.

How many items do you buy for less than 25 quid?

Just wait till you need two items and order together, not an issue.

Is that Renault Traffics and Merc Sprinters that identify as Transits?
