I remember the crappy £10 skateboard I had as a kid. The wheel would lock up and throw you of the front if you ran over a jagged sub-10mm piece of gravel.
Assume the proper ones are better?

Love a go at long boarding dancing along on the local prom with skills like this lady

I think the reality would be a trip to the dentist sadly.

That’s one of the more impressive things I’ve seen. Like ever.

That road surface looks amazing - I'll get my late 80's Dura Ace equipped steel roadie out for that.

**** me! And sliding the bloody thing on bends at those sort of speeds, with that level of poise and balance, astonishing.
I’m lucky if I can stay upright at walking pace.

Impressive skills. Balls of steel.
Interesting decision process. Helmet no pads..
Not saying he should be wearing pads, his choice.

And sliding the bloody thing

That’s braking when you don’t have brakes...

Blimey, that is seriously impressive! Wouldn’t take much for that to go very wrong very quickly (how I miss the immortality of youth!)

I was enjoying it, until the the car passed him coming the other way up then I was just scared! Are his little hand scraper things for stability only or for braking too? As everyone else has said, iron conkers!

Madness. I thought it was a closed road at first. Then imagined a tractor pulling out of a sideroad round every bend...

Seems to have a back protector on too.
