I used to get this a lot at my last job on nights. Fair point but it came from being unfamiliar with ios (it is really dated as a side note). I thought it was dead at first so connected it to my pc as that was my only method of charging. That brought the photo's up.

I then really struggled to find a link to settings in the email. Anyway I now know how to see the name on an incoming email so I know who it is now. I will reunite them tomorrow. 😆

I've found three phones, on each occasion I've gone through the numbers untill I've found "maison" or "maman" and then phoned to tell them where I've handed it in (or arranged to meet when they were on the same piste). Next time I'll know what to do before trying to track down the owner - you're a voyeur not a prude.
