Has anyone got experience of Aluroll SecureRoll roller garage doors?  The first local company we spoke to recommended a Seceuroglide roller - which seems highly regarded online, and we can see loads of them locally.  A pretty safe bet.

The second company we've spoken to has suggested an Aluroll SecureRoll, and they're significantly cheaper.  I hadn't heard of them before, and they aren't quite as popular online.  Can't yet tell if that's cheaper because it's a compromised door, or just a better priced supplier.

I'll be going back to them with further questions, but a salesperson's obviously going to promote what they have, so I'm hoping for some independent views!

I can't remember the brand but I have slimline roller door.  I think its seceuroglide.  Its ok but I don't rate its strength against being shoulder barged, and I'm sure a car would easily bust it in.

I will probably replace it with double UPVC doors at some point with tongue and groove style panels.  Not just for the security, but the fact that a door is much quicker to unlock and open, rather than having to wait for the electric door to roll up and down.

We have this one

It replaced one that was busted when our bikes were stolen in 2016.

There's a video on line of them trying to bust into one

That's something we've been considering too.  Ideally I'd prefer a pair of side-opening doors, mostly for speed of opening and insulation benefits.  But they're a fair bit more expensive.  And we currently store our (3) bins in front of the garage, and even if with a 70/30 split, it wouldn't leave enough room for the small door to open.
