The collective experience here will no doubt provide a variety of answers!
I am a supply teacher working through an agency (which is why I am sat here. Bloody SATs week) who occasionally ask me if I would like to shift my payment method to another company. This company, in exchange for 20 something quid a week offer to organse things in such a way that I calim tax relief on things like fule. Apparently even clothing ( well I wouldn't buy smart clothes out of choice) and lunch plus other expense's such a green biros to mark with, are claimable.
Has anyone had any experience of this system? What sort of things can I claim for etc.
Being self employed isn't an option.

4/10

Good effort but spelling is poor and grammar needs attention.
Mattsccm must try harder if he is going to fulfil his potential.

Its a tax avoidance structure that the agency puts in place to milk the use of tax deductible expenses. They gain far more than your £20. There was an article on Moneybox I think the other day, but going through their archive I cant find it at the moment. Ill have another dig as its got useful info in it.

Here we are, it was a File on Four programme, not a Money Box one. No wonder I couldnt find it.

Read from Page 16 of the transcript:
