I have several of the Aldi type torches that run 3 AAA batteries in a holder. they work well it isn't cheap. Normal AAA rechargeables could be used but I was wondering if there was anything else out there that could be used, maybe with some packing?
Any ideas?
There are these: http://www.rapidbatteries.com/AA-Rechargeable-Batteries-NiMH-size-LR6-RX6-MN1500-UM-3X1-HP7-AM3-R6HP-R6.html
and there's a bunch of different ones here: http://www.onlybatteries.com/rechargeable-batteries.asp
I don't think there's anything much that's an alternative to AAA's, there are alternatives to AA's, the 14500 Li-ion batteries commonly used in LED flashlights, but they're 3.7v, not 1.5v.
