Hello all

I am looking for mountain biking insurance for next year. Going to the Alps, riding around Chatel, Les Gets using the uplifts and doing the Passportes Du Soleil. My holiday insurance won't cover extreme sports. It's been a few years since I last went, so can't remember who I used before.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I've used https://www.dogtag.co.uk/ before. Did not need to claim, so can't say how good it is really.

Our annual policy covers riding on marked trails which would include chatel, Les gets and ppds but all policies are different. There are some specialist skiing insurance like dogtag or you can buy insurance in resort when you buy your lift pass. Only ever claimed when the wife tripped on town. A bit daft after a week of riding, but luckily it was at the end.

I've used Yellow Jersey and Dogtag before now. Fortunately I've not had to make a claim so cannot vouch for how good either actually are when it comes down to it.

The PPDS used to include insurance for the event. At least it did when one of our party was air lifted off the hillside a few years back.

Dogtag was always the default answer before. Paid for insurance twice but luckily never made a claim.

I used Yellow Jersey in 2019, buying the policy wasnt too painful as I cant remember it, thankfully never used it, would have used again recently but COVID-19 saw trip cancelled.
