looks like and ideal top for me, speshly as Rab aren't doing Vapou rise pull-ons any more.
just wnat ot be reasured about the fit.
according to their guide i'm a small - 37", but i want to be able to fit things under it.
anyone?
All I can say about Alpkit clobber regarding the fit is.... you'll have to try one on. ;-D they do no fuss return though so there's no hassle.
Their fit has got a lot better (more consistent) in recent years and I (36.5" chest, 5'11" tall) find myself in their Medium kit now if I might want to layer underneath, small if I want it tight (and too short).
HTH.
Their fit is similar to Patagonia, TNF, Arcteryx, Marmot. More generous that the skinny brands e.g. Mountain Equipment which assume you have no upper body mass.
I'm a Medium in most brands, M/L in Rab and XXL in ME 😉
Alpkit sewing quality is a bit random, no where near as neat as Arteryx. One of my Alpkit tops looks like the sewer was pissed when she was finishing the cuffs...

Bit sexist.
I have the full zip Morphosis jacket. I'm a medium in Alpkit. I'm 5'11 40' chest right in the middle of medium territory.
It fits well with room under for a fleece if you wanted to use in winter. Its not a winter jacket though.
Bit sexist.
I suspect that 99.9% of Asian garment sewers are female though.....
I tried an Alkit top on Saturday and the label said Made in Rwanda. That's a new one on me.
good good. sounds like the small should be spot on then. thanks everyone

You think Arcteryx have a similar fit to TNF?
i wouldn't know, but just for geek sake, i'm a Small in patagonia, a Med TNF was way too big, between s and m in Montane, ,and small in Rab
