There's about 2000 American Crocodiles in Southern Florida, they can grow up to 20ft - if it was 15ft I'd guess it's a Croc.

I doubt I could really tell them apart (a croc and alligator of similar size) but that's looks like the ones I saw in Australia.

Nonsense, alligators only started walking on the face of this planet approx 37 million years ago.

Mind you our ancestors were only just learning how to swing about in trees by then, so they definitely got here first.
