Stops none stop and says "content unavailable"

check connection etc

broadband is not fast but a consistent 6-8mbps

router is about 12 feet away from TV

tried the reset tip of fthe web and updating to no avail - making all4 useless to watch!

any ideas?

Don't know the answer, but after the dog ate the Virgin remote yesterday I tried using the iPlayer app on my Samsung telly, only to get a message saying the platform is no longer supported.

Moral of the sad story is all smart tellies and DVD players get out of date quickly, Chromecast and apps on phones and tablets are our fallback solution.

Same here for All4 its generally crap but you might want to update the software on the TV and that's for both iamanobody and midlifecrashes as that updated the apps etc and they have worked better since

tried the update - i.e. flattened/reset telly and reinstalled all apps - still shit!

This has happened to our TV. You'l need to reset the Smart hub. It' a bug with All4. Once reset you will need to add your apps again though. It works after the reset

I've had a Samsung smart TV since about 2011 and I think the 4OD / All4 app has worked about 5% of the time.

It works a lot more reliably on my Amazon Fire TV so don't know if its something related to the Samsung system?
