I think the nurses deserve a fair deal, it’s a tough job that requires years of specialist training and the pay from what I understand is piss poor. Whether 20% is realistic or affordable is questionable, but I certainly wouldn’t begrudge them
Have limited sympathy for all the rest of the industries that are striking however. Everyone is getting shafted at the moment financially, certainly I am. I always have the option however to try to find another job if I think I’m underpaid compared to other sectors. Surely the same applies to postal workers, baggage handlers, transport staff etc etc.
