Just idling wondering (well, half heartedly discussing it with the missus...) about what the IT job market is like in the South West? I'm guessing theres stuff in the big centres like Exeter and Plymouth? Anywhere else? What big companies are based down there?
And of course, wheres best for riding / living etc bearing in mind we'd quite like to be by the seaside (oh I do like to be beside the sea...) but being 20 mins drive away wouldn't matter.
Anything to say about the area really. Know it pretty well from holidays etc
lots of small techy startups in cornwall. loads of funding available.
Exeter and Plymouth nails it quite well. Not that I've been looking 🙂
Haven't seen much of interest to me recently though of course it's a wide and varied field so sign up for some job searches.
I know of a little outpost of developers for a certain building trade supplier up in Barnstaple too, but I don't know if this is just a one off or there are a few tech companies clustered there.
