I was following the 3d printed saddle thread in the Bike chat, and there ws a saddle there from AliExpress.
However with my delivery address set to the UK, it tells me that i cant have delivery? Does anyone else have this problem? Ive had recent orders from BangGood so China to UK sems possible.
Thanks
Ian
I've had the same issue. I bought a couple of ZTTO cassettes a while ago and when I try to buy the same one again, it tells me it can't be delivered to the UK.
I have a feeling that in this case, it's because ZTTO would rather sell through their own website at twice the price than via Aliexpress who presumably take a cut of any sales.
I keep meaning to message them via AliExpress to ask about postage but never seem to get around to it. Maybe worth messaging the seller to see if they can do it?
As we are no longer in the EU we don't have the same shipping deals with China that we used to have, fewer AliExpress sellers are shipping here as a result.
The seller prob only ships to EU addresses so they don't have to fill in the extra paper work for individual countries and also provide additional shipping rates.
It's possible they won't ship to the UK. Quite a few don't now. It's also possible it's a settings or cookies issue. Try it from another browser or not logged in with just the country selected.
No problem here, just added another to my basket. I said in the other thread it cost me around £50 delivered, it was actually £45.
Seems to be ok for me, I'm waiting for a chain guide and bash guard to be delivered. Quick check this morning, it has arrived at our shores and is awaiting collection for delivery to me.
Never a problem for me. Some sellers don't ship to certain jurisdictions. Meh. Banggood worth a look too.
Brexit derangement syndrome is still a thing then.
I have had this issue before logging out and logging back in seemed to sort it.
I get this problem now and then with Ali. It thinks my shipping address is Afganistan sometimes.
I just use a different browser or the mobile app and it works. Often things are cheaper on the app.
I've contacted sellers in the past, sometimes it's just they haven't configured something and they charge settings so I can order.
I ordered some electrical connectors that no one seems to sell in the UK, 2 different suppliers and the stuff arrived less than a week, no issues.
My parcel has just been delivered, ordered on the 2nd. Never had expected to receive it so quickly. Although not advertised as such, it is branded. I'm well chuffed.
I find a number of items that are flagged as not shipping to the UK on the website can be ordered (and have been delivered) via the app on my phone.
I think it's down to where the item is warehoused, sometimes it's in an EU country (or others) and thus despite it being physically closer the local agent doesn't want to deal with our UK import nonsense, so they just blanket refuse to ship to UK addresses.
I will log out and back in and see how i get on. Thanks all
