I need a scarifier and the Aldi one is reduced at the moment.

Is there stuff any good or would I expect it to last 6 months and then pack up like their cycligh lights etc?

Thanks

I’ve bought some seldom used Aldi and Lidl power tools. They all have a 2 year no quibble guarantee. The only thing that broke was a Dremel copy. But I did abuse it.

I’d buy more kit if it was for occasional use.

I bought that a couple of months ago and can't complain. The plastics are sturdier than expected, the motor has a decent amount of power. For occasional use it is fine, and a steal at £50 I'd say.

The only criticism is that it's not a true aerator - the two modes are more like "light scarify (rake)" and "heavy scarify (blade)".
I might wall mount it once I get a chance, and a quick look at the plastic bracket supplied and it isn't obvious how the scarifier actually attaches to it. But maybe I'm just being daft...
