Some stuff from Aldi can be a bit hit & miss. Anybody have any real experience of their fireworks?
Aldi? pfft!
You have to buy your fireworks from one of those shops that magically appears at this time of year, in a previously empty unit, staffed by bored, yet aggressive looking men wearing trackies. The fireworks themselves should have instructions in an indeterminate language that definitely isn't English, and generally be big enough to render people deaf within a half mile radius, and cause structural damage to nearby buildings

Rubbish. Use them once and they're useless after.
Buy cheap, buy twice.
We have had some in the past and come to the conclusion that the big boxes are not worth buying. You may as well buy the £5 box knowing it will be rubbish instead of buying the bigger box and being disappointed.

Don't know about Aldi but my experience of Lidl fireworks is that they range from a little disappointing to so good I couldn't believe it was legal.
