Has anyone here had experience of the Alidi Backpack Gazebo?

It looks like a quite useful thin to put in the car and caravan when going for weekend rides - useful shelter in car parks, and when cleaning/servicing bikes outside, and at a reasonable price.

most likely to be seen disposed of when Camping, picnics, sports and outdoor events. Unfortunately there seems to be section of society that are a buy cheap use once discard and repeat.

OK, but that's not actually answering my question. Could say the same about tents, BBQ's, chairs, etc. What I really want to know is are they any good for the money, not what others do with them.

Looks pretty good, think I'll grab one for the back of the van I haven't bought yet 😅

Looks like it has no king pole or diagonal bracing.
I doubt it would last long in windy conditions. If a gust of wind hits it at the wrong angle it'll fail and you're left with a a bent pile of metal😟

Assuming that you use it in quite limited conditions. It looks fine. Don't expect too much and you'll be fine.

Joining the chorus

If the air is still it should work.
If a wind gets up it will fail.

In short be prepared to collapse it down immediately no questions asked when a breeze threatens.

Just picked one of these up. Looks good for the money. Will want to add some guidelines for high winds (the cover has loops for this) but good for back garden and maybe for pitching in field at the back of a car etc. Worth a punt.

Cheers Blake, thanks for the feedback. If it's got fittings for guy ropes it sounds worth the risk.

Go Outdoors has an airbeam type one. I reckon that's what I'd spend my money on. A bit more at £150 though, but no risk of ending up with a tangle of twisted metal.

Just had it set up in the back garden. Pretty gusty and windy day - no probs so far! It's not massive but fits over a picnic bench well.

Easy to set up and packs away small so can store it easily. Would definitely like to give it a go next time I go car camping. For £40 I'm happy enough.
