All of a sudden Cameron, Clegg, Milliband etc start to look incredibly appealing as candidates...

The shame of it is I know Al Murray is a very illteligent man who's got a lot of interesting things to say and usually a pretty open mind about any topic devoid of a predetermined stance based on being a fan of one party or other - but it seems he's sticking to his Pub Landlord character so it'll only ever be so much Monster Raving Looney Party stuff.

The documentaries he's done on the war and all things related are really very good, I just worry that he reinforces the views of some of the more, let's say, patriotic voters, despite being an obvious parody...

P-jay, I thought it was quite an intelligent "dig" at most, and served to point out the downsides of all political parties much in the same was as the pub landlord does for most stereotypes.......and quite amusing as a result.
