Can anyone recommend a hotel (with parking for a week) for Manchester Airport?
We got a good deal at the hilton, which is very nice
Breakfasts are ace
Radisson Blu. Nice hotel, and you don't even have to go outside to get to the terminals.
Anything, *anything* but the Britannia Airport Hotel. Concrete monstrosity with 1960's rooms. Seriously. If you leave your car there it won't be around when you get home, though the chalk outline from where the thief ran someone over probably will be.
There's loads of parking in the back streets of Didsbury, just leap on the train or catch the bus out to the airport.

I am fairly sure that we stayed there before going out on our honeymoon many years ago.
It was the worst hotel I have stayed in, there was a headboard screwed to one wall and the bed was against a different one. There was some blood on one of the walls and the 14" tv was on the top of a 6ft wardrobe! If I hadn't been so hungover from the wedding I would had a pop at someone!!
We used the Mercure Bowden this summer. My wife tends to be a bit fussy, but she thought the room was ok, the breakfast great and the pool a nice benefit for some exercise before the flight.
It's the sort of place where you know you're going to be woken in the night be a woman pleading, "No, Vinnie, I'll do anything you want. Just put the gun down..."
I drive past the Britannia Airport Hotel often. Ive no need to stay there as I live in South Manchester, but if it is as bad as it looks, which judging by the reveiws below it is, then I would rather camp on the runway.
It's not even that close to the airport.
The Marriot,5 minutes away.
Used Holiday Extras to book family room 3 of us,b&b ,car parked for the week and taxi included in price there and back.
