I’ve got a Nissan almera tino from 2005 (a bit of a rare car). It’s the petrol SE variant. The air intake hose has got holes in it, which I’ve repaired fairly well. It won’t last forever. I can’t find the spare part anywhere. Tried loads of scrappers. The part just doesn’t seem to be available. Has anyone ever made one? It’s just a silicone hose right…? Or know of anyone who can make one for me?
I don't know that car, but, the first question is if it's before or after the air filter. Before, it'll be basically just a cold air duct, not really doing anything too much. After, it can be a bit more critical because obviously a hole could let dirt or water in after the filter straight to the engine, but also the engine is basically an air pump so it wants to suck things in through the holes (and also wants to squeeze the tube in a bit), plus any leaks can mess with the MAF.
But on a naturally aspirated car you can generally just wrap the hell out of it and call it good. really needs to come out of the car and be completely clean for this but anything will do teh job as long as there's a lot of it. I like stretched on electric tape for this sort of bodge, some people swear by self amalgamating tape, main thing is lots of overlap so the tape is a seal in itself and just uses the pipe as a skeleton.

Can you not just buy a length of silicaon hose the correct diameter (or 2 bits if the ends are different sizes) and then buy some ally joiners of correct angle sizes to join it up to make exactly what you need. Thisd is how I have done it in the past when fitting different engines in different vehicles or when moving motors about in the engine bay for better balance when racing.

I’ve glued it with silicone glue at the either ends where it connects. Assume it’s worn as engine moves. And also it’s 18 years old.
A bit of engine movement is normal, but if it's excessive that's the engine mounts, not the intake/ induction system.

If it's the big fat one between the air filter box and the engines intake manifold /throttle body Then an OEM or pattern part is needed.. Failing that there are plenty of 'sports' silicone hose kits available for most cars.
Yes. The big fat tube. It just isn’t produced anymore. Big chain garages can’t get their hands on one, and neither can small ones. Rang loads of scrappers and they just don’t see the car. I was wondering how difficult that would be to make. I can do oil changes and spark plugs but that’s as far as I’ve ever ventured. I’ve emailed the derby sports performance place recommended above.
I'm not familliar with that car, but if its a fairly standard hose configuration for that type of car, i'd assume any hose for an Almera of same engine/that year would be the same or very simmilar.
End of the day it's mass produced car. Rare/limited edition or not in that particular spec, stuff like induction hoses is likely to be exacly the same, but it is something you'd need to check to be sure because you never know.
Failing that then you'd have to buy a custom/sports one as mentioned above.

It might just be the way the pic was taken, but to me that hose looks shorter and of smaller diameter than the one in the OP's picture.
I’ve tried to fit one from a diesel tino before and it didn’t fit, but thanks. I’ll keep an eye on eBay and scrappers and see if I get any replies from custom builders.

It won't if one is a diesel and the other petrol, they will be very different engines, and therefore different hose configurations.
The ebay linked above seems to be for a 2.2 Dci engine, 2000-2006 vintage.
I am no expert, just nosey. I think some Primeras has the same engine, so maybe a Primera part would fit. 1.8 Petrol, or 1.5?

It looks like a crank case breather hose to me, if so thats easy enough to deal with.
