I've tried eBay's tool for writing adverts. It's rubbish. As are the job applications I've rejected recently, which all have the same writing style and key adjectives.

The things I find it useful for are simple explanations of complex stuff, summaries of large bits of text and generating initial ideas when you're a bit stumped.

I can't think of many circumstances where I'd use AI text as a finished product for someone else to read.

Also a pretty good revision tool for anyone with exams to sit. Copy in some text and ask it to generate multiple choice questions for you to answer based on that text.
