Going to afan at the weekend. Not been in many years. What trails are recommended? Vaugly remember last time doing blade?
Going to ride blue scar Saturday before camping but need something for Sunday.

I'm not convinced it's changed much 🙂 same trails as 5, 10, 15 years ago... nothing much has changed there.

Last time I was there at the beginning of May the Wall was closed off by Afan bike park with a diversion to take you back to the main visitor center via fireroad.

The bit that's closed can be reasonably easily circumvented.

Skyline has been updated and is more singletracky, we've done it two years running due to W2 being partially shut/diverted both winters

Just posted on another thread, Skyline trail just done on Sunday, trail was mostly dry and well signposted, plenty of single-track and fire road for 46k.

Most of blade once your at the top of the climb is shut and it just loops you round on fire roads until you head back towards the mini dh/ bermy bit.

we went a couple of years ago and found it quite sad how little has changed or developed. It really felt like it was in a state of decline
