Got to shoot over to St Davids on the weekend for Xmas so thought i'd stop on the way at Afan for a few hours. Would prefer to ride with a person or 3 though if possible.
So i'm planning on getting there about 10-10.30am. Don't mind which of the centers, either is fine for me.

I am tempted by the riding. Although not by the long early morning drive. If you'd have invented a Star Trek Transporter...
Fair point, it's a long way for us, but obviously as i'm going further west from there... it makes sense for me.
I'd just rather have some company along with me as it's a bit safer... and obviously more fun 🙂

Brilliant morning at Afan riding Y Wall, it's a tough old sod of a climb up i can tell you, relentless... but the rewards are just FANTASTIC... the trail goes on and on and on. By the end of the 2 main DH sections your hands are tired, your legs are burning and the sweat is dripping into your eyes. Over the years the trail has eroded so the rooty drops are now 18" instead of 12", the jumps have more rocks and the rocks have, well, more rocks. I really appreciated the Whyte there i can tell you.. it's just an absolute weapon of a bike, gets down anything with ease and makes stuff i'd once have looked at with worry, pretty fun.
