Advice on selling deceased persons vehicles

Looking to help out an acquaintances wife, as he's left debts & she needs to get rid of a few of his vehicles (nothing fancy more barn find than anything else) Firstly, does she have to re-register them in her name before selling - I would have thought not - I certainly didn't when I got shot of my mates old bikes.
Secondly, I'm thinking eBay with honest description would be best for the nearly 20yo Saab 95 estate, ancient barn find Saab 900i convertible & unknown campervan with a hole in its roof (it's covered up in a tarp). Would this be a reasonable approach?
There's also another couple of cars but I'm going to contact the owners club about them.

Get in touch with Jonny ‘carpervert’ Smith off of fifth gear and YouTube and all that, he could be interested in a deceased spec Saab barn find

Ebay prob the best bet but.... Temper your expectations a bit. I've never seen so many classics and interesting old cars for sale. I think in the current climate lots of people are needing to liquidate their assets but they're all doing it at a time when everyone else is tightening their purse strings. It could be you struggle to make a sale.

No idea - it's an estate in fetching blue & mud 🙂

Stick them on eBay and sell as normal. A V5 isn’t proof of ownership anyway.

As above V5 is just the registered keeper i.e. who is responsible for taxing and MOTing the vehicle. So if any issues that's who plod write to first.

As long as the address on the V5 matches up I can't imagine people will be bothered. Especially for older cheaper vehicles where they're highly unlikely to be financed.

Is the wife the executor of the estate? If so, I believe she can dispose of the vehicles without registering them in her name. She just needs to be able to prove she’s legally allowed to do so, so may need probate.

I’d avoid EBay. Dealing with the chancers, dreamers and innitbruvs at that end of the market is shit at the best of times, let alone after your husband has died. I’d find a scrappy/dealer/WeBuyAnyCarOrSimilar.

Whilst she (if she is the executor) does need to liquidate the assets to pay any debts it may worth pointing out the debts in his name cannot transfer to her unless she was a joint signatory.

I went through similar when my dad died. I'm sure that as I was executor, it was easy enough. It was one of the few dealings I've had with Dvla which was positive.

Probably not relevant but in Spain the vehicle needs to be re-registered.
