You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Just sold a kitchen island with a granite top on e-bay, and the buyer is coming to collect it at the weekend. It's a big old lump (about 3 ft by 6 ft) and I've been informed by the brother in law via Facebook that granite breaks very easily when you try to lift or move it. Anyone have experience of this?
Leave it in one piece, and offer to help once they've handed over the cash?
I use Cheese wire to remove such type of worktops and backslashes
When your good your good 😉
What br says. I'd be leaving the buyer to it unless you've arranged otherwise. 🙂
Money's already been paid (PayPal), and it was made clear that the buyer collects / transports. I suppose I'd just feel bad if it broke while they were moving it. According to the brother in law, who lives in Australia, most kitchen sales over there stipulate that the buyer removes at their own risk. To be honest, I still wouldn't feel comfortable keeping the money if the sodding thing broke.
Does it have cut outs for a sink/hob or is it one complete piece
Complete piece.

Basicly carry on edge, not flat and dont layflat in a van or it will crack.
