Hi All.
Me and Mrs R and 2 mini Miss R are looking to go away to Wales (Snowden area), now to be honest we know it looks nice but have no idea of the area.
We love walking and the great outdoors but with an 8 and 4 year old what and where is beat.
We are looking for a either a cottage, log cabin type thing so can anyone help us out.
Cheers
Stayed in a cottage in Llwyngwril with Mrs Picto and the 2 Ms Picto's. Was handy for the beach (rocky) which my 2 liked, access to smaller hills and Cadair Idris a shortish drive for a longer walk. Cottage had a couple of shetland ponies which were a massive hit with the girls.
Also like the Rhinogs and the beaches around Harlech - though not stayed there.
Always tended to go to the coast as my two prefer the coast to mountains and lakes.
Close to Llanberis. Massive garden, kiddie safe too I reckon, with loads of exploring in the garden and beyond. HUGE views. Very quiet, at the end of a tiny lane, just two strips of tarmac really. Doggies allowed by prior arrangement I think, check with the owner. We stay here quite a lot tbh, not just for the biking. The place is NOT a palace and by no means luxurious but has everything you might (not) want. Mobile signal, Sky TV, Central heating etc It is a 'holiday home' that they occasionally let out.
I believe that the conservatory is to be replaced this year. It may already have happened, I'm not sure.
Anyway, I love it there
