You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I have an aerial on top of the house which is an old one I assume been in the house 6 years; the TV only receives a few digichannels - BBC, some ITV, some CH4 and Ch5.
Is it as simple as replacing the old one with a new one and Bob's yer uncle?
Do you know what transmitter you get your TV from?
If you replace the aerial, a new down-lead is a good plan
Just found the Freeview website apparently all I get is all I'm going to get 🙁
So i'll be Sky multiroom if I want more...Damm you Murdoch (shake's fist at sky - actual sky that is..)
freesat
It'd probably be cheaper to use Freesat boxes all off the same dish.
You could also [if you wanted] get a standard Sky installation and then hang more Freesat boxes off the same dish.
all sorts of options really
EDIT - Freesat doesn't carry the UKTV channels, Dave etc.
whilst on the subject anyone got a rough cost to get a man* to climb on my roof and attach and aerial to chimney and fit a downlead?

I have sky in another room with HD and Sky+ - but i have just seen this

Outside of London and other 'they'll pay anything' areas, about £120

You probably already have a suitable LNB so all you'd need is some cable and a couple of connectors
post a close [ish] pic of the business end of the dish and I'll tell you
Jota180 - thanks I'll not get to see it till the morn in daylight but will try to get photo - The Sky people came and renewed all the cable 4-5years ago when I went to HD.
