Has anyone had any good career advice as an adult from anywhere? Or are you just meant to know everything once you're older than 30?
Not looking for some life coach crap.
I'm guessing by 30 people assume you have a relatively suitable career (career being taken as ones job path for life) and you are going to stick to the plan you have.
Some people don't have a plan and some people would probably have a break down if they didn't have a plan. Suppose it's just a case of doing what you think is best.
Just buff up a bit and get a willy extender. Or did I misread the thread title?
I've had some through work when I worked somewhere that cared about that sort of thing but mostly it's come from friends. seeing what they do and taking an interest. If most of your friends are work mates that might be tricky. Mine are a pretty diverse bunch.
nickjb - The few friends I have come from a narrow field of existence unfortunately. Ho hum.
There are courses specialising in career progression. Could try one of those?
If it is a change of career altogether then I am not sure. Read up on stuff? Night classes? Mature student?
Laggy band..

Tried two of the three, can't afford the third.
