Good luck, and bonus points if you manage to get the word "singletrack" into the interview & tell us about it. "Single track" will do as well.
That kind of mistake has always worked well for me in the past, it means I just have to be myself and removes the prepared answers where I am just double guessing what I think they want to hear.

I wouldn't be concerned, but it's been so long since I did any proper programming, instead of just making up numbers and fannying around the edges. If they grill me on specifics (which is pointless since everyone uses reference materials unless they are some kind of savant) I'll be rusty, but if they are reasonable I'll manage I think.

As a contractor never let yourself get institutionalised somewhere, I was with the same client for 13 years I bricked myself when that came to an end. Been changing every 12-18 months now and I now longer fear the change.
What sort of stuff did they want ? If I remember correctly your a Java man aren't you ?
