I am looking for some accomodation to stay in for my brothers stag weekend for around 20 of us needs to be close to some pubs and riding around the dumfries area
Mabie House Hotel. Riding from the door
Try Station or Cairndale Hotels, maybe get cheap deals(best western etc)

For eating Cavens House in Bucleugh St is best pub grub, busy tho. Plenty Chinese. Best Indian is in St Michael St just along from Greens. Must book tho.
Hulabaloo is also a very good place to eat just across the river, but defo need to book well in advance. Ma`donnas is anothre good place for pub grub, again booking essential.
There is always Thornhill nr Drumlanrigg, but not much in the way of stag type night life.
Plenty of B&Bs but not for 20.
