Left it too late I think, travelling up to skye from Manchester family of 4 any ideas everything is booked up or very dear. Route could be up from loch lomond or over to Fife direction and across. Thanks 1 shed.

Air BnB? How old are the family, you could possibly do Skye in a oner if you don't need small people stops (and there's no bikes on the roof to slow you down).
Loch Lomond route will be solid caravans. A9 to Dalwhinnie and across via Glenbogle might be better.
