Hi Everyone
I’m intending to pop up to the Yorkshire Dales near Settle in August, can you suggest decent places to stay in the ‘reasonably priced range’ for up to 4 riders.
Thanks for your help.

A couple of weeks ago I did some riding with @robbo1234biking & @slowpuncheur ( and @oopnorth for about half a mile [ashamed emoji] ) in that neck of the woods.

On the first night we stayed in Grinton Lodge YHA which was nice, with a bike storage building. A short walk down the hill to a lovely pub (highly recommend the steak & ale pie!!)
Quite a way from Skipton though.

I bailed on the ride during the second day, but on the second night the remaining hardcore elite riders stayed at Malham YHA, which is just east of Settle. That might be worth a look. I can't comment on it as I didn't stay there, but didn't hear any complaints & it also has bike storage.

Prior to meeting up for the ride, I stayed overnight in the Premier Inn at Gargrave which was as you'd expect a Premier Inn to be. I left my car there while we were riding & booked that with Your Parking Space, which was cheap & pretty easy to do.

Dalesbridge, big campsite with bunkhouse, bar and pizza oven. Nice pub in the local village.

Knight Stainforth is a decent campsite if you fancied camping, and easy access to the pennine bridleway straight from the campsite.

Cheers Lads, some great suggestions there, I’ll actually follow them all up and book one.
