Hi
Heading to perigeux noir next week with the mrs and dog looking for some nice (dog friendly) places to stay camping and , b&b's , chateau's , farmhouse, vineyard etc
Cheers
Mike
I've spent a fair bit of time there cave diving (the Lot & Dordogne have some of the best underwater caves in the World). We usually stay at Chez Gaby near Rocamadour. It's a nice campsite in a stunning area. Seem to remember there is a Gite as well.
There's a nice downhill straight from the campsite!
Cheers, Dave
Can thoroughly recommend www.lesmazettesgites.com. English owners, with their own dogs.
A bit more civilised than camping, the owners are nice peeps.....they even have a drying area for sweaty drysuits 😉

stayed a few days last summer. I thought it was a great site. The location is just as good as in the photos. Lovely walk upto the chateau.

We stayed here one summer--nice place
I can't recommend the Camping Municipal at Martel highly enough.
A bargain price, and only 2 min walk from the most fantastically preserved 15th Cent. town.
Mrs PF and I just got back from a 4 week tour of France, and this was our favourite place.
