Can anyone recommend a nice, reasonably priced B&B around Loch Lomond for a couple of nights this weekend? Also any good walking routes and would it be possible to walk up Ben Nevis at this time of year? My neice a first timer is heading up to Scotland for a few days.
Cheers!
Nevis is over 2 hours from ll and very snowy. I wouldnt recommend at all if you are not a seasonsed climber. Still some white stuff on lomomd too. The oak tree has rooms at ll and its highly reccomended but if you want to climb a hill conic gives you great views of the loch and its very straightforward to climb being all paths.
Www.balmillig.co.uk. - my folks do guiding as well if you are into walking.
Was going to recommend the oak tree inn. Too late. We always stop off on the way up to the north west and break the journey up. Food and beer good and a nice location to walk out of.

Best B+B I've ever seen.
Food at the Drymen Inn was bloody good too!
