Firstly, Merry Xmas Eve all.

Secondly, I like to watch classic movies etc.

Now the question as per title I have been watching versions (new & old) of A Xmas Carol (with Scrooge character) and my question is:

What lesson(s) have you learned from watching A Xmas Carol with Scrooge?

I learned that ...

1. Scrooge is a good character apart from his strict/abusive upbringing (from the new version).
2. Scrooge gets a second chance so long as he is "fair" but just stingy.
3. Powerful people (and rich) are favoured by the bloke up there in the sky.
4. Scrooge gets a second chance because he affects many lives in his dealings etc.
5. The Xmas spirits/ghosts are biased.

... those are the immediate points I noticed.

🤔 😀

p/s: ... back to shopping to spread me wealth ...
pp/s: ... would someone please make a movie where the cruel gets severe punishment during Xmas?

Home Alone innit.

Yes, cos I is bored as stomach is full.

Normally, I would be in the fast east enjoying hot weather by now but decided to stay this year due to work and forgot to book air ticket (very expensive now).

Another NOooo 😱 …

Please No Die Hard related movie suggestion ... please. Can't stand that movie.

Last night I was watching Evil Dead ... what a lousy remake. The original was much funnier.

For the life of me, I can not understand how you managed to draw those conclusions. Unless their only in light of the shit produced by the BBC.

I'm quite enjoying the BBC Christmas Carol*. The way Marly got sent through purgatory and Bob Cratchet not being a completely subservient sap is all good.

*not seen the second and third episodes yet.

I guess as long as it's called "BBC Christmas Carol"; otherwise, that's the way Dickens wrote it.

Jingle All The Way?

I mean, it has Arnie in it, so it must be festive

Under Siege with Steven Seagal. Very Christmassy.

Oh, I get what you're driving at now. No, he's still getting impeached. 🙂
