My brother just bought me an antique shaving set/washroom roll for my birthday.
It's got the usual loops to hold a clothes brush, toothbrush, comb, safety razor. But came with 2 silver "pepper shakers". Any thoughts on what they're for? My first thought was the lids don't seem tight enough to be intended to shake anythig out of the cannisters so perhapse one was for a bar of soap and the other a brush and the holes in the lid were to allow air to circulate and dry the contents. It'd have to be a small bar of soap and a small brush though.
