Currently engaged in legal action to get shared custody of my kids. Legal Aid is paying the bill. My question is this - How long can the other side stall?
She was sent a letter two months ago which attempted to negotiate a fair settlement - she has not responded to it. I understand that as Legal Aid is paying I can't proceed to court action before negotiations are complete.
This is in Scotland if it makes any difference.
