Hello, Can anyone recommend a decent canoe that I can use on various tours around Austria. Inflatable is better as I would need up to 40 and I have a Nissan Primastar plus trailer to transport.
Use would be on lakes and quieter parts of the river Danube. Nothing technical.

We've got a Gumotex that we really rate, although I'm far from an expert. It's a decent build quality, but fairly spendy. Ours (solar) has been on offer recently and is a great buy at the price.
If its a canoe then the Gumotex Scout. If a kayak then the Gumotex Framura is at an unbeatable price at the moment. However there are only a few left of either in the country and the price will be going up when they have sold.
Just seen you need 40 and its a commercial use environment. I have DM'd you as there is a lot you will need to know.
Look for something with a drop stitch floor, makes for a much more rigid craft. Single tube designs dry off quicker and can be packed away sooner.

I got a Sea Eagle TC16 last year, it’s awesome. Expensive though, 40 would be eye watering.
they are drop stitch, extremely sturdy with fairly thin walls and floor so lots of room for cargo. Can be pumped up easily and quickly with a hand (sup) pump. Pack down to a reasonable size.
I have an itiwit 1/2 person kayak. I had a very exciting time once when a squall appeared on a calm day. I wish I'd bought something with less air draft. It also is a pain to dry before putting away. These constraints mean it doesn't get used as much as I'd hoped.
Don't buy any type where the inflatable bladders are inside a more robust 'skin'. You have to take them out to dry them, which would be a serious pain for 40.

Don't think you do. The outer skin on my itiwit isn't waterproof. You can aid drying by removing the floor, but that just velcroes in. Not onerous if deflated.
What does "40" mean?

Takes about 15 minutes for me to pump our Solar up..... really wouldn't fancy it multiple times. I suppose electric pump would be the way forward, but I think that they're a bit slower.
15kg would be a good ball park figure for the Gumotex stuff, so 600kg before you've got any other kit involved.

This!! I've got an AE Expedition and although it's a great kayak, drying it out is a major pain in the arse. Doing it 40 times would be a nightmare.
