talking to a mate earlier, regarding going out for a drink. i have not seen him or another couple of mates since xmas 2019.
got me thinking, that was the last time i had a proper good drink.
bought a bit of brewdog in last years lockdown. slowed to a grinding halt last xmas, not had much at all since the new year, odd can of brewdog, nothing more.

cant bloody wait to get out for a full on session, sat in a pub, with the freedom of getting up and going to the bar.

is this ever gonna happen again ??

Could be a very short session if you don't pace yourself carefully!

I'm hoping outdoor drinking with table service will continue to be a thing. It's very civilised.

I watched the MotoGP on Sunday sat outside a nice bar in glorious sunshine.
11 pints of Camden Pale Ale, didn’t even have a hangover the next day.

Not been to a pub for drinks since original lockdown (had one or two meals) but table service seems light years better to me.

Our remaining pub changed hands last summer, what was a civilised village pub with decent beer and food is now a "drinkers pub" apparently, possibly to pick up trade from the rough shit hole that has been demolished and is about to become "executive houses"

Just back from my local. So nice to be able to sit inside and natter/catch up on the gossip and have a few local beers.
Have been buying kegs from the brewery and drinking outside the pup when allowed throughout lockdown, but nothing beats sitting inside in this weather!
Have thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon's session 🍻🍻 and supporting my local pub/brewery.

We went out in Tuesday with a few mates. It’s our mates bar and as they were back open we thought we’d lend a bit of moral support. And obviously we all really really fancied a proper night out

Started as the usual ‘nipping out for a couple’, ended up as a right old session. It all got a bit hazy, but the bin the next morning informed me that fried chicken had been involved in the way home

It was mind-blowingly, spirit-affirmingly wonderful to sit in the pub and get absolutely leathered with good mates. Christ, I’ve missed it. So has everyone else. We all ended up getting a bit giddy

Last good session I had with mates was the ale train from somewhere near Burnley to Leeds, then out in Leeds in the evening for a mates stag in 2019! I'm in Cardiff so that was all new to me, plans are afoot for another one later this year fingers crossed, cracking day.

Gawd bless getting leathered with good mates

Watch yourself. You'll be out of practice!!!!! I was.

When outdoor drinking in Scotland opened up a couple of weeks ago(sub optimal weather). 4pm till 7:30pm. We weren't on a mission or anything just meeting a couple of people for a catch up. Stone cold passed out on the sofa at home 9pm.

Got a smashing hangover from imbibing the delights of the Eccy Road. My word, ace ace beer that I've never heard of, a Mowgli and a lovely buzz about the place. Headache heaven.
