Out walking the dog this morning through a local park and I could hear a duck quacking like mad, looked up and it was sitting about 50ft up a tree on a thick branch.
Just seemed strange to me?

Is this the start of an Eddie Izzard sketch ?

"Le singe est sur la branche!" 🙂

Did you know that if a duck quacks in a forest and there is no one to hear it, it doesn't have an echo ?

You appear to be confusing your urban legends.

Can ducks get mythamatosis?

Na the dog didn't see it. He'd left his glasses at home.
It sounded pretty distressed tbh.

I didn't have my phone with me. Prob wouldn't have been able to make it out anyway.
There is a load of ducks living around the park as it has a small lake in it.
But I've never seen one up a tree before.

Lucky it wasn't a cow 'cos they can walk up trees but not back down them.

BTW, some species of ducks nest in trees.

Don't worry, I got a photo of the offender. The police have been informed and the culprit will be in cuffs before the end of the day.
