we may be a bunch of argumentative tossers at times but we do all share a genuine concern for STW towers, I’ve spent near enough the last 20 odd years being mildly amused/outraged/disgusted/slack jawed/tearful/overwhelmed/raging/rofl and finally awed at the support it has given fourum members/friends over the years.

All that +1

Besides noone on here rides a bloody bike anyway so this lockdown stuff shouldn't change posting habits much should it?

Evening Mark, any update on the black zipped hoody in medium coming back into stock?

I'd be genuinely upset if the mag and forum went. It would be bad at anytime but during "all this"... awful.

No other place like this on the net. Donated a bit to the cause.

Thanks to you all - I know I keep saying this each day but it's amazing the support you are giving us. Those of you that have donated are incredible and we all really appreciate every penny:-)

Bought a belt. In times like these you need properly secured trousers.

I'd subscribe twice over, just for gems like this 😄🤣

I see there's a note added to shop orders about them taking up to a week to fulfil… It's not that I don't care about a new T-shirt but it really is just about the least important thing I can think of right now so please don't bust a nut trying to ship it out 🙂

How about a Kickstarter? Get the coin now, send out stuff once it's all blown over. I'd pay for a Jo Burt print of someone being chased along the Downs by a horde of Coronavirus spores 🙂

Charlie is trying to get home from his holiday and we've had young Tom B (local 17 year old lad who comes in once a week to help us out with everything from despatching orders to making tea to various exacting recipes) scheduled to come in and sort out the orders. Only, we don't want to risk anything with him having to travel in so we've told him to stay away. That's putting a delay on despatching until we get Charlie back, hopefully at some point this week or the next.

So what we have is the largest stack of outstanding orders I've ever known us to have, and an almost complete bottle neck on despatch. For which we all apologise, but we'll get everything out to all who have placed orders asap.

Absolutely zero plans to cancel my subscription here. I also bought one of your lovely STW bobble hats recently, back in the days before COVID-19 was a thing. Its my fave hat.

Keep up the great work STW.

Keep posting and commenting and interacting with each other. High engagement helps drive others to the site through search engines and that in turn helps drive our business.

Still want loads of stuff posting? I could start an argument ?

A new batch has just been delivered. I'm not sure of the quantities and I'd prefer to leave it to Charlie to manage the stock control. He's back on Friday so you will be able to place orders then.

Book and long sleeve riding top ordered.
I sense I might be using the book more than the top at the mo.

I ordered some stuff from the shop at the start of the month and haven’t received it yet. Does anyone have contact details for the shop? I understand that it may be delayed at the moment and am not in a huge rush, but just want to check whether it has been sent yet or not as it may have got lost in the post. I’ve tried emailing despatch@ but have not received any reply.
Cheers

Thursday update:

Charlie has made it home. As you may be aware we are running a very strict policy of 1 person only at the office. Charlie is heading in at 2pm tomorrow to start on the despatch. He reckons it will take him 3 hours to get everything packed and over the post office.

Thanks again to everyone for placing orders - Normal conditions still apply, so don't hesitate to contact Charlie if anything isn't right at despatch@singletrackworld.com

A big welcome to all the new Premier members, we hope you find your membership to be great value. We are all working hard to generate as much content for you as we can. Today is podcast recording day. If you've not already done so then clicking subscribe to our podcast in your favourite podcast platform is another way to help us. The higher the numbers who tune in the easier it is for us to secure a paying sponsor.

Links to podcast sources are over in the RH column or scroll down on mobile. We are on Apple platforms too - I'm not sure why that button isn't showing up over there. But just open your podcast app and search for Singletrack Magazine and you'll find us.

Cheers All,

Stay well, stay safe, ride alone

I've ordered delivery to work. How do I change it to home as work now closed
Managed to change my Gin Club delivery but not the 512 gb ipod classic until they try to deliver.
If its easier to post to work and then sort it with delivery company its fine

The print database has left the building I’m afraid so we can’t change it for this issue. However, if you can’t redirect the office copy then contact subs@ next week and we’ll send you one out from the office direct. Tell Zoe Mark said it was ok 🙂

Just ordered a mug, absolutely no rush on it arriving whatsoever. Would much rather everyone stayed safe and it arrived after all this has calmed down than it arrive next week and someone get ill.

Would this be a useful thing to implement?

https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/

I know its beneficial to the site if we click through from here to buy stuff like, err, dildos... but this would be a way for getting a little bit of benefit from all our transactions, not just the ones that are traceable to the site.

To heck with it. I have resisted signing up for "reasons" but given I have been chucking a bit of money at folk who need it I have signed up for the glorious "P" against my name. I feel dirty 😉

What I wonder - does this mean I can argue with who I want now without fear of retribution 😉

I know you're joking but just in case anyone else is wondering, [P] members do not get any special exemptions from moderation for bellendery. All users are treated equally and, to the best of our efforts, fairly. It's very rare that it happens but STW will cancel / refund a subscription if we decide that a life ban is warranted, you can't hide behind an 'I'm a customer' argument.

Just got my collection of goodies through the door today, nice pick me up mid-afternoon and the bobble hat will be in action in the home office tomorrow morning before it warms up!

Just a thought, but have you seen about getting mugs done with the 'no car, no gnar, not far' tagline on them? Could be a bit of a 'I got this when...' memento and you could bring an extra couple of quid on to help out?

Welcome TJ. Like you, "reasons" had resulted in me not renewing a while ago. "Other reasons" have me back.

As I commented on another platform, this forum is pretty much my main news source. It certainly beats the shit out of the traditional media, especially if you're not interested in celebrity ****ers or soundbite articles that are light on fact.

I reckon that, in light of many ongoing arguments, there might have to be a "reconciliation" process post-CV19, so I might as well start now. 😁

Hi,

I've signed up for the digital & print subscription; Should I be able to view past issues in the IOS Singletrack app?

I've logged-in to the app with my Singletrack credentials, also into PocketMags but it still wants me to pay for individual issues.

Back issues are accessed through the site here and our mag archive up there on the main menu.

Unfortunately back issues aren't possible through the app, only issues going forward from the date you subscribe. The reason is we are charged for each download in the app by Pocketmags and if we opened up all back issues we'd make a loss on each subscription. The latest issue should be available to you now in the app.

Cheers

Mark
